3400 Royal Giant Split-Push Deck Arena 9
Best Royal Giant Split Push Deck - Arena 9
Yes, this is a Royal GG deck. I know how much Reddit hates it. But what I want to showcase is how I use it to split push. Everyone I see uses it push hard on one lane.
I wouldn't suggest this deck for tournaments, and the RG gets pooped on at tourney levels.
I included options for legendary replacements and some slots I've been changing, tinker around and use what you like. The strategy section below will cover the first cards listed.
How To Play Royal Giant Spli-Push Deck
NOTE: you need to know when to not try the split push. If you don't have an elixir advantage, you need to stick to one lane, hoping for a 1 crown victory or a draw.
Start the game by dropping Princess, IW, or Minions behind your king, or Goblins if yours can survive 3 tower shots. Play the counter game in a single lane until the they make a decent push, trying to build an advantage in the meantime. Once they over commit to an attack you can counter and have some troops left afterwards, drop the RG in the opposite lane.
Here is the where your quick thinking is required. Depending on what they send at the RG, you have some choices:
- If you have a hard counter to what they will play against the RG, play that first, then reinforce the other lane. Such as dropping IW/Princess against the Minions/Goblins/Skeletons assaulting your RG. Send Goblins/Minions in the other lane if you can.
- If they play something on the RG that you can't counter quick enough, such as Barbarians/MP, push the other lane. The RG lane will need some support, but the other lane becomes the target for this push.
Once your push is cleared, reset the counter game and repeat. Try to make them overspend on the healthier tower, so you can keep chip damage rolling from the RG. Splitting the princess from the RG requires and answer each lane. The constant splitting of resources will strain them, and the chip damage will net you a tower.
If they put a Giant/Pekka/RG/Golem in one lane, throw yours in the other. Force them to spend resources to counter you, because you can pick a tank apart quickly if they aren't supported. Your troops are cheap, and there is an answer to everything.
Giant Balloon decks are difficult. You are going to have to base race them, and the odds are stacked against you. Push the opposite lane with an RG, while dropping IW and Minions on the Giant Loon.
Miner decks can be tough, especially if you are caught flat footed. Try to drop IW/MP/Goblins where it lands.
