Goblin Stadium (Arena 1)
Air & Ground
“Three unarmored ranged attackers. Who the heck taught these guys to throw spears!?! Who thought that was a good idea?!"
How to use (Strategy)
A card consisting of three Goblins, identical to Spear Goblins spawned from the Goblin Hut, these Goblins are great support units to higher hitpoint cards such as Giant, PEKKA, Golem and Lava Hound, when played offensively. Arguably one of the best troops in the game.
Fantastic value. Cheap, good damage to elixir ratio, fast, and a critical reinforcement to tip the scales when both players have committed their elixir bars to their push/defense. Hits ground and air, does so from a distance, focus fires or hits different targets, can be split up, rarely lead to a poor elixir trade, and are great for kiting.
On offense, they are good for supporting because they enter in the action very easily, especially with their speed.
Their defensive value is amazing: they can pull, they can put in damage pretty early, they are very easy to use due to their low cost, and are very good against single target units due to their number. They can lure troops such as Prince, Mini-Pekka and Giant Skeleton, so the tower kills them.
Spear Goblins are great to counter Minion Horde. If your opponent baits out your Arrows/Zap, and then drops just a Minion Horde to attack a tower because you have no spells to take them down, you can use the Spear Goblins to kite the horde a little bit, plus deal some damage, leaving only three or so Minions left. While they do reach your tower, they only do a couple hundred damage, but you are up three elixir on the trade.
To counter them, just use Arrows, Zap or any other cheap spell. Take special care when you use your spell as they are very fast and could be out of the spell range by the time it arrives. It doesn't worth using Arrows just to kill them unless there are some other units. They are also vulnerable to Wizard, Witch, Baby Dragon, Valkyrie and any other troop with splash damage
Good offensive support card.
Spear Goblins can counter many cards in defense.
Very low HP makes them vulnerable to any spell.
They are not always easy to use.
