Training Camp (Tutorial)
“A tough melee fighter. The Barbarian's handsome, cultured cousin. Rumor has it that he was knighted based on the sheer awesomeness of his mustache alone.”
How to use (Strategy)
This underestimated unit, which can behave as a tank or as a damage dealer, can be used in low arena levels with very good results. With a low cost of 3 elixir, the knight can be used as a mini tank, instead of the Giant, with very good results, and in the case of reaching the tower, he can do nice damage thanks to his attack speed.
One important detail about the Knight is that he has one of the fastest attack speeds in CR. That paired with his respectable DPS makes him actually perform relatively well against small units (Skeletons, Goblins) compared to other single target melee units. He takes practically no damage from regular Gobs and Skeletons if they approach him in a line. This makes him relatively more difficult to counter than units like Mini-Pekka.
One of the most common uses is to use him against the Musketeer or Bomber by placing next to it. He works really well by being in charge of killing range troops. However, he is not used at high arena levels and commonly is substituted by most powerful and versatile troops.
As all melee units, the Knight is easily countered with flying troops, in particular, Minions. Also, swarm units such as Barbarians, Skeleton Army, and groups of Goblins can defeat him easily if placed around him.
One of his most interesting uses is placing him when Baby Dragon attacks, in order to distract it (the dragon will follow the knight), and the towers will do the rest.
Very low cost (3 elixir) for a decent tank with medium damage.
Counter range units and if reaches the opposing tower, he can take some damage.
There are many more versatile tanks for high arena ranks.
Swarm troops will make a good breakfast out of him.
