Builder's Workshop (Arena 6)
“Slow but durable, only attacks buildings. When destroyed, explosively splits into two Golemites and deals area damage!”
How to use (Strategy)
This card is seen in high arena battles and even in the legendary arena. The golem runs well with a witch (witch works well with any tank). Other units that work well with a golem are wizard, ice wizard, minions, goblins and spear goblins, fire spirits, princess, valkyrie and bomber. Sometimes people put a mini pekka, musketeer, or archers (sometimes).
Making a golem deck with troops that cost 6+ elixir (like Pekka) sounds like a bad idea (it's too expensive and it's not very effective having 2 big tanks in a single deck). Golem usually works well with cheap troops. They are the main damage dealers and the golem plays a role of a shield for them. On the other hand, if left alone, Golem would do a great amount of damage to a tower.
A good spell to use with a golem is poison. It kills small enemy units that the opponent puts down in order to get rid of a golem. So when the poison is used, the opponent knows that there is no point of dropping them, making a golem living longer.
In order to counter golems, always try to have an Inferno Tower in your hand, however, tesla, cannon and bomb tower are also great. Place the building in the middle of the map before the golem reaches any of your towers. Always try to kill the supports because they are the real damage dealers. Spells like fire ball and arrows work well against swarm troops.
High HP. When he dies, two small golems will appear.
The golem explodes when he dies. Also the mini golems.
Extremely slow. The opponent will have plenty of time to figure out how to kill it.
His high cost will make the opponent attacking the other side.
